Good start to Mexico cycle - flight cancelled!

Lucky I checked my voicemail just before I went to bed last night - the first flight leaving 6am from Victoria was cancelled. Sorry! Weather problem (really!?), you're on your own buddy! Spent a couple of hours on the phone with Expedia, who told me I was rebooked for 6.50pm tonight, with overnight in Seattle before boarding the PV flight. But when I subsequently checked my Expedia itinerary I was shown booked on the 11.40am flight, so I would be stuck in Seattle for 21 hours. Called back this morning, had to fight to get onto the 6.50pm flight and eventually they did it. So at least just an overnight (hotel on my tab) in Seattle.
