Finally getting somewhere on the planes. Couldn't get out of Victoria airport last night, totally fogged in, no planes landing. Was rebooked through Vancouver rather than Seattle but no flights to Vancouver either so Cathy had to rush me to the ferry for the last ferry of the night to Vancouver. 3 hours at a hotel then 4am to the airport for a 6.30am. flight. Such fun too dragging 50lbs of bike and tools around this, even in a case. Worth getting the room though, even for such a short nap, guy next to me today told me he napped at the airport and the person next to him had their bag stolen while they napped.
Fogged in Vancouver too but no sweat for big planes! So now I'm in LAX - stopover - and the sun is blinding! So not the smooth connecting flights that I originally booked (to make it easy with the bike!) but now we're getting somewhere!
