2008 was a funny year - ruptured an achilles tendon, lost my job... On the other hand - had a great job, went to Spain, and visited my brother and family in the Cayman Islands...
Anyway now I have bags of time I'm flirting with the idea of keeping a blog again. With the first use being to keep track of my whereabouts and any interesting bits related to this upcoming trip to Mexico with my bike.
I'll be away from January 12 through February 4. The first two weeks are a cycle tour from Puerto Vallarta south run by Gabriela Cycle and Kayak, then Cathy will be joining me back in PV for a final week of sunny vacation. More to come...
Note that this blog is as much for mine and Cathy's benefit as anything so I apologize if chunks of it are boring for others (despite trying to just record interesting bits). Also warning, I may turn out not to be much of a diarist, a vocation which takes stickability, something I am not famous for!
