After pouring all night the rain let up in time for us to set off this morning. 42kms, consisting of a single 3,500 ft hill. Throw in a headwind, not much to see in the way of scenery and a drenching as we got over 3,500 ft, and we were well ready for a hot chocolate and hot lunch (or in Cathy's case hot tea and cold lunch) when we got to Volcano! Couple of photos to follow...
Here for two nights, so will do some touristing around and probably ride the road around the crater (Kilauea).
